(Warning, I went a little crazy with the reference linkage, but it was fun. I don’t work on Fridays, but as a courtesy for those do, beware that the last few links, although fine for your p*rn filter, may not be for your boss to see.)
There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes. I’ve been suffering not so much from writer’s block as writer’s log jam. But let’s forget about all that for a moment though and skip straight to a Fun Friday kind of post:
We’re going back to the Burning Man again this year and the time has come to order everything we’re going to need. I think I have a knack for finding some interesting stuff online. This skill could have been fostered by being alone a lot when I first moved abroad and had more time on my hands. Even now, when I can find the time, I still like to make lists of great things I find online for certain occasions, like new babies and Burning Man. I’ve had a pretty popular list up for Burning Man at ThisNext for a few years now and this morning I’ve been updating it while I shop for myself.
Now we come to the reason for the title.
Last year the milk thing, which also alerted most of us to the fact that you could actually buy milk online, period.
Well in addition to soliciting user reviews, Amazon also encourages customers to upload their own pictures and video testimonials. I was trolling through the dance clothing looking for desert-friendly lightweight fabrics and found a few choice images that a clever user uploaded for a nude body stocking (may need to click on the thumbnails to find it). I am sure that this is the semi-sheer tip of a proverbial iceberg.
For all you pantyhose enthusiasts and 12-year-old-boys with no other outlet, please be informed of this soft porn loophole.
(BTW: There are 183 user images currently uploaded for the wolf shirt. The user images for the milk are also pretty funny. No worries though, no human sources are pictured.)
